Introduction
Scientists at the University of Alabama claim to have discovered how to turn aging on and off in mice. There's a long path between this and reversing aging in humans, but scientists will eventually figure it out. When they do, we're going to encounter some interesting economic problems. The disappearance of Social Security and Medicare plus longer lives would mean that people would likely start saving more because they'll live longer.
