i feel more confidence in the woman to do it than having joe at the corner of the table. If i told him to take notes, he just wouldn't do a good job. So i would look for what is the acceptable level that you are willing to accept and who can handle that. Make sure you sit at the table, not on the fringes, which is where women often sit when they enter a room.
