In 2000 the democratic party seemed to look like americans at large but today pew repeats this poll and it finds that something like almost 50 percent describe themselves as liberal or very liberal. You cannot talk politics in a social gathering president trump has been so polarizing and his base is so fervently for him we sit up till perhaps this crisis i've never seen anything like it he's a polarizing figure both pro and cons even when he said i could shoot somebody on fifth avenue I'd still win the election he might have been right exactly.
