How to Define Dark Data
It really depends upon how you define dark data. There's always some weenie out there who thinks that his personal Google drive is the same thing as his hard drive. All that stuff can be dark data. So finding it, classifying that, and then putting DRM or TTL restrictions on stuff that's spread out that far could be a major project. I'm not saying that you shouldn't try it. And I think you definitely need to.
