Seneca: A Case Study of a Roman Philosopher
The Roman philosopher Seneca is often quoted as a stoic philosopher. He was the tutor to Emperor Nero and wrote plays, tragedies. In the end, he sort of covers up a lot of Nero's crimes. And in the end, Nero thinks that Seneca is conspiring against him and orders Seneca to kill himself.
