core inflation is still 4% 4.8% higher than the peak of 12 months ago so when you look at it in totality you got um and i'm not going to go based off of pre-covid because that's even higher  the overall cpi of all goods in the basket 17% higher this is after 12 months of decline 70% higher than when Biden took office food is 20% higher electricity is 26% higher gas is 53% higher apparel 11% new cars up 20 shelter 14.3 percent home prices up 38.6 percent use cars up 46.9 percent fuel oil up 59.7 percent gasoline previous was gas utility gas elene itself up 70%.
