The Appeal of Vertical Farming to Urban Populations

The appeal of vertical farming is that you can put these centers extremely close to urban populations and grow a lot of food very close. One thing I did learn about it though is that it has limited crop varieties that you can do indoors so you can't we're not going to be able to like grow anything and everything for the first time ever. The second podcast I talked to was saying how you know it was from actually an organic farmer standpoint but they were very much so against vertical farming. They said especially in the organic realm that it shouldn't even be allowed in the organic because it's doing nothing for the soil.
