Do Crypto Exchanges Self-Regulate?
Most of our exchanges today are categorized as self-regulating organizations. When you go and you list your securities in the New York Stock Exchange or whatever, you are subject to the authority of the New York stock exchange acting as a quasi-regulator. So that definitely occurs. Now, the question is how do we get crypto exchanges to that? I have a paper on this actually, which looks exactly at this issue.
