I loved stoicism and I, you know, I read them in the original. But when I would try to explain it to people, I felt like it wasn't quite resonating. So that was the idea that I could popularize some of the ideas in stoic philosophy in a very accessible, memorable form. By drawing on biographies, right? Like Theodore Roosevelt and Thomas Edison and even Barack Obama talking about how these principles sort of apply to things that these people experienced.
