Kate Fror: What can people do to improve their emotion regulation ability? She says the first step is paying more attention to one's emotions as we move through our lives. We don't have perfect control over emotions, at least most people don't, she adds. But i do think if we this idea that emotions can be at least partially controlled or regulated, and that we can do that by changing the situations in which we are exposed, then maybe it's not such a bad idea to sit and patiently wait for your turn!
