In 1953, Ruth Ellis began what was called a tempestuous relationship. She eventually became a manager at Little Club in Knightsbridge, London. After the marriage proposal, things took a turn when David Blakely started becoming jealous of Ruth and kept an eye on her. Dr. Rees, a psychiatrist, prescribed her medication and became her doctor until her arrest in 1955. The couple's daughter Georgina was born but George refused to acknowledge the child as his own. He later filed for divorce on the grounds of cruelty.
