Is Consequentialism a Good Idea for Legal Research?
In philosophy of law, people will tell you that either people are focusing on this too much, or away too little. And ideally, than a one would take into account the consequences of legal change and laws more generally. But consequentialism is not necessarily something that legal researcher and philosophers are very happy to andorse. Yet, we've talked a lot here, right about these kind of, like, long termus. Law, protecting future generations, and all these kind of,. like, bigger, kind of abstract questions. I'm also really interested to how your own legal properties project fits into all this, and in particular, what kind of work that you guys have been getting up to.
