The Challenges to the Transition to Democracy in Sudan
Women are heavily present on civil society because they found their place in civil society. Those actors who were directly influenced by the armed conflicts are directly exposed to the violations of the military and all those actors could have actually been the backbone of any political process at this point in time. I think the international community really need to hold post the military and Sudan political parties accountable to the process, she says.
