The Role of Multidisciplinary Teams in the Treatment of Children With MIS

It's really hard to measure outcomes, right? Because this is more quality improvement research where you don't really have to compare it to a group. You know, we've done some work comparing patients before this algorithm was implemented to after and it did seem that patients were identified more quickly. There were fewer deaths, but you know, some of this is also compounded by the fact that time the treatments offered were a little bit different over time and over time we've gotten better at treating it. So it's not the perfect comparison. But I think there is some evidence that is helpful with our institution compared to historic controls.
