Sign Posting Is Really Helpful in a Business Environment
If you have a controversial thing that you would like to convince people to believe, start by telling them that you plan eventually to try and convince them of it. Always try and make it as easy as possible to agree with you. Don't just shove them in a room and hope for the best. Instead, put them in nearby rooms and then exchange things that smell like each other. Then let them see each other, but not interact until they feel more compelling.
