In 22, gideon perceived that he was an angel of the lord. In verse 23, fear not, thou shalt not die. And so he built an altar in place,. He called the name of the place je shalom, which is a word that means the lord is peace andd we love this beginning of the story because you have this boy wos kind of ie, i, i actually don't know. I'm super unqualified. But god gives him reassurance: "I am going to give you peace" It's that promise that gives him that peace - even when things aren't going his way.
