Trump arrived at the lower Manhattan courthouse around 1 p.m. on Tuesday in a motorcade. He did not need to be handcuffed or have his mugshot taken, says CNN's John Defterios. The former president is no regular defendant and Secret Service continues to protect him, he adds. "I think also, you know, it would have given a lot of fodder to former president Trump supporters," defterios writes.
