Film Review - Solaris
It's a strange film in his, in terms of its narrative structure. A lot of which are either episodic where each episode is pretty tangentially linked to the others. Or like sort of like Ivan's childhood or something where it's all about not so much about the action, but about the build-up to the action. The key bit is wandering around the zone. Which is probably only half the film. They arrive there about 40 minutes in. There's quite a lot afterwards as well. At some point it becomes clear what the thing they know is. And you see them sort of knowing it through various bits of the film.
