What's the Best Way to Detect Lies?
Most of what we hear about lie detection is not based in reality. We often think that there are body language tells and there are not the best correlate. The most useful thing in terms of detecting lies actually comes down with what's called cognitive load. Telling lies requires a fair amount of brain power you have to monitor the other person to tell if they're catching on as you say more things.
