If P was equal to NP, you could claim all of the claim mathematics prizes because you'd be able to run your little bit of code and generate short proofs for all of the remaining ones. I think we don't have some sort of model of an imaginary computer that solves NP problems with these. So I don't think that's really an analogy to be drawn there, exactly.
