You Know It, Everyone Is Something Hard for You
This week, your grown up is going to be teeming up with you to make sure they're helping you at just the right level. I had a young lady, a seventh grade girl, who was making fun of a fifth grade boy because he didn't know his times table. He looked right at her and said, you know it, everyone is something hard for them. What's yours? And it was such a quick response that the girl, the seventhgrade girl, just stopped shut up. It happened once, and then i got to talk to her privately about why that wasn't ok. But boy, did his response help.
