The Benefits of Fasting for Health
The point about fasting is that you're going to lower your nutrient sensors. So if you're suffering from diseases of too much insulin, then lowering insulin is a very good thing. And I always look back at the 1960s in the U.S., because it's a period of time where there's very little obesity. Yet people are still eating three times a day, almost every day. It's just that they didn't eat in between. That's a great example of how like different societies eat very differently than the way modern industrialized societies do.
