The Hairy Hominid Walked the River
The 19-year-old saw a 6 and a half foot tall dark being covered head to toe in fur with a dark gray leathery face. Turner watched for about two minutes as the creature crept towards the water's edge and dipped its hand in to sip from its palm. The young man could see how the wet matted fur parted against the creature's big strong legs, exposing dark, brownish skin beneath the fur. As it turned and creamed its head, Turner noticed what looked to be a reflective mirror-like glaze across each eyeball. When he peered across to the spot where the creature had been, much to his horror, it was now gone.
