Is There a Passive in a Topic Prominent Language?

The topic, the topic as I understand it could also fill any particular noun phrase role in a sentence. It's just that in certain languages you're putting,You put the topic first. Whatever role it applies to. So line up with the subject. The topic can still have something in a funky case role. But why would you do that? And we can talk about some things that follow from having a topic heavy or topic prominent language.
