Is the Monopoly on Violence a Natural Monopole or a Legal Monopolist?
Is the monopoly on violence a natural monopoly, or is it a legal monopoly? I mean, the naturalin that context, again, monopoly is defined as the exclusive right or privilege to provide a certain service. It seems like governments are effectively suppressing competition and discovery in the market for defence. And they also do that in themarket for money, because money is just the most powerful tool for controlling people. So is it natural, or isit nature? Is it conditioning? Who knows yet. Thit's where the lines blur.
