The Importance of Passion in Neuroscience
I got into this through the back door more or less. These degrees in business administration and so forth that my passion took me there. I would not try to discourage someone say coming from English or philosophy from going into neuroscience because I think that there's a chance that you could pull it off. The student would have to really bone up a lot. Everybody says follow your passion but you can't go wrong doing that.
