Women Don't Pretend to Be Experts

Con artists pick up on psychological cues. That's how they con us. The cue here is that when we hear the word expert, we form a picture in our head. And that picture is of a man. If a woman says, i'm the best surgeon you've ever seen, red flags are going to start waving. But this feels like a very male thing. I have a very hard time imagining a woman doing it. We don't know any stories of women pulling something like that off.
