The Importance of Cultural Appreciation
I always feel a little iffy when Asians wear dreads just because it's hard to celebrate something in this way when other people are still to this day like so negatively affected. I've been disappointed a lot by the response of actual Asian celebrities um as in not Asian American celebrities but people in like the kpop industry when they're committing cultural appropriation. There's really a fine line for this and we just have to be extra careful extra careful as we like traverse these waters.
