The Dark Patterns Project

i lead the user experience pedagogy times practice lab at pretty university. I thought dark patterns was actually going to go away, and right as i stopped studying it directly, everything blew up. So a lot of our work around dark patterns these days is focusing on really describing the historical art of dark patterns. And so we're starting to see this notion of dark patterns, which was originally very narrowly defined for the u x community by harry brignell, now being taken up by legal and regulatory bodies.
