The Importance of Regretting Motherhood
Jamila's friend once said but yes so this regret thing when I shared at the beginning I had no regrets I'm I wanted to acknowledge that it's very specific to me. Between seven and fourteen percent of parents say that they regret having children which is actually quite a high number and possibly even underreported given what a taboo subject is a stigma around motherhood. If you have issues beforehand get them fucking sorted out before you bring that other person into the world like with any of my friends who get pregnant one of the first things I do especially if there are any kind of like issues in the relationship that I'm privy to.
