The Importance of Life in Sulawesi

Kakadou is a huge area and you can only access it during the dry season. By the end of the dry season, by the time you can drive vehicles across most of it, half of it is underwater. I am so much more about what life was like there only a few hundred years ago prior to European settlement. The thing that would really blow my mind would be knowing how did they navigate the wet season? They must have had free range kids effectively, you don't even have a home to put them into lock up. And there's crocodiles outside.
