The Merchants Association's Proposal to Eliminate Billboards

E.H. Paris said he did not believe the Merchants Association should go on record either as favoring billboards or opposing them in view of the controversy, which had arisen. Guild says he believed if the association took a hand in the controversy that an agreement could be made between the women and Charles Frazier,. whereby certain portions of the city would be eliminated in billboard use. A deadly silence followed the proposal. The subject was dropped.
