Sharp's Promise to Napoleon
"Sharp" is the story of a British general and his battle with Napoleon. The author says Sharp's main goal was to get an Eagle, which Napoleon had personally touched. "Sharp" ends up getting one after Simerson gets fired for disobeying him. But he still manages to gain something important in the end.
