The Meaning of Music

In the 1980s, I decided to make foam core sculptures that were half sculptor and half paintings. And one of the things that I made back then was this sculpture that I called The Meaning of Music. It's actually because music is a four-dimensional object,. Because it has three dimensions spatial. That's what happens when you listen to stereo. You can see, feel, or hear how it's a raid in space. Then it unfolds across time. So it's got four dimensions. A pattern is something that maintains its structure across time.And patterns, all the patterns of the world, and they're meant - right?
