Wonka - Doll's Wife

The story tells us that the oompa loompas work for Wonka because he saved them from the remissious canids. Even if you do save someone's life, that doesn't obligate them and their children to manufacture chocolate bars in perpetuity. If you're going to give your factory away, why not give it to the people who work there? Is it so bad for the workers to own the means of production that you would give it instead to this literal random white boy?
