The Promise of Isaiah 54
Jesus quotes isaiah 52 and then takes it to isaiah 54 in third nephi chapter 22. He doesn't cover 53, which may have been humility on his part or a little too fresh a memory for him. verse one: sing o baron, thou that didst not bear, break forth into singing and cry aloud,. Verse two: Lengthen thy cords and strengthen thy stakes. For thou shalt inherit the gentiles and make the desolate cities to be inhabited. No wonder the jews will have to grow into the gentile inheritance. And yes, we'll have to extend the tent flaps further. Move move over, barnum and bailey.
