The Story of Perkins and Machen
Perkins was one of the men whose appeal was heard at the Syracuse General Assembly and that's DeWard, Machen and Buzzwell I think. And so his appeal of his conviction was denied by Syracuse and then he and his wife and some friends that were traveling with him went over to Philadelphia for the convening meeting of the first General Assembly. He became the convener and the first moderator of the Presbytery of Wisconsin as well as the archivist of our Presbytery.
