Chess is the king of all board games, easy to learn but devilishly tactical and layered. It merged in India around 1500 years ago and was then known as Chacaranga. Chat Ranch spread wildly in Europe and by 1000 AD it had shared its Indo-Arabic characteristics. In literature, we find chess in many stories and novels.
