Essa: How do you review three excellent studies with limited space? But also how do you engage with the deeper historiographies that helped to contextualize these three works? And that's where i began to think about my interests, or or think a bit more carefully, i should say. The history of black resistance in forms the broader histories that we study in the atlantic world. It just takes, i don't know, years of study and years of being a bibliopheel to be able to see it.
