Gay men perpetuate a lot of these unprocessed emotions from being victimized in our relationships. And there's that internalized homophobia, perhaps shame, all these different ones that we are carrying,. and they get triggered with other people. So I think, again, this is a generalization, but I do think gay men have a particularly hard time having healthy, secure relationships.
