Chilean President Borich's Plan to Nationalize Lithium Mining
Chilean President Gabriel Borich released his plan to bring Chile's lithium extraction industry under state control. He says he wants to create stricter environmental rules through this sort of quasi-nationalization plan, but that plan still has to be approved by Congress and it will take a long time to implement. This is kind of part of the next fossil fuels. What Beweech trying to do is put not just environmental standards around it, but keep the resources in the pockets of the Chilean people.
