There are two kinds of human needs intrinsic and extrinsic. Intrinsic needs are those, um, those, you can almost, I've got like a physiological needs. Extrasic need are those that come from the external environment such as making money to pay your rent. The more driven among our ancestors or the least hungry and thirsty were often able to satisfy their thirsts with less effort than today's people.
