The DNA of Net Hack and Roguelikes

Derek: I think it's what maybe got me thinking about this is sort of how roguelikes were injected into spelunky one in the first place. Maybe yeah I mean maybe roguelikes are sort of the chaos that are getting injected into like platform games which I think are very ordered genre of game right you've got these static platforms. They're very sharp and well defined edges to everything, injecting the chaos of roguelikes into that created something pretty compelling so it's spelunky too.
