Homer and the Odyssey

Homer was probably a single poet and what he did was not so much bring all these things together but he inherited a great wealth of oral tradition from way back when. He's the guy that finally wrote it down so we think Homer was a real guy he was blind he actually lived although we don't really know when where in Greece he lived almost every Greek island says home of Homer but they're not really the home of Homer.
