The Finnish Army in the Battle of Lake Ladoga

After the hotel was captured, Finnish troops in the area were mostly idle. But then on December 14th the attack would restart for what would be about nine days of almost continuous fighting. The problems that were faced at this point were that the attack would continue day after day, but the territory regained from the Soviets would drop drastically while the casualty numbers skyrocketed. And so by the end of December 23rd, the attack had to be called off, the men of the front were simply too exhausted.
