The Fee Drag of an Income Annuity
Annuities can have high fees between the fund expenses and the sub accounts that you own. The simple income annuity, we don't describe this way, it's like a hundred % fee drag in year one. It could potentially meet that goald with a lower overall amount of assets. If people do worry about the stock market, but if havin that income protection in place makes you feel more comfortable investing,. then that additional exposure to the rist premium from the stock market could potentially offset some of the fee drags.
