The History of Global Warming

In 1938, a scientist put together all the data on carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere. He then made an estimate of how much temperature should have risen due to it. It explained around half of the observed temperature change that he had seen. And so we're looking at these old handwritten records that allow us to take our estimates of global warming further back in time.
