China and Ukraine Hold First Phone Call Since the Beginning of the War

China is planning to send a special representative Ukraine for talks about a political summit. Chinese president Xi and Ukrainian president Zelensky held their first phone call since the beginning of the war. House Republicans yesterday rallied behind House Speaker Kevin McCarthy and his bill to raise the debt limit while trying to cut some spending. Florida Republican Congressman Byron Donald says he doesn't want to get into specifics of the debt ceiling because we know it's the beginning of a negotiation.
