How to Deal With Anxiety

If you're depressed, if you have been diagnosed with major depressive disorder, you need to be on your medications for at least two years without symptoms of depression. You always talk to your provider about that. Goals are important. It's not just chit-chat therapy. It's goal related. That's what you need from your therapy. And you need it cognitive behaviorally based. If you go off your meds with anxiety too soon, you're going to feel it. So those are some, I don't know what you want to call them pearls of wisdom. I mean, I certainly didn't invent them."
