Planetary Terraforming Strategies (Narration Only)

The Fermi Paradox

The Fermi Paradox is only exacerbated by faster light travel options, as they just make endless space colonization so much easier and faster than it's harder to imagine why someone doesn't do it. However there are other technologies which would seem outside the realm of known physics now, but which might be very handy for terraforming. Even merging two planets together for added mass or the target addition of matter with high momentum to increase or decrease a plant's angular momentum become viable with portals. Those sorts of options are cool to contemplate, but I just don't see FTL being in the cards yet.
